In deactivating the account for a week I hoped to recharge my social tolerance. There&#8217;s a lot of noise in the world, both in real life and in virtual realms.<\/p>\n<p>Having re-established the conn room to the social network, I am inundated with matters of import and insignificance&#8230; and I&#8217;m all too aware that what category the postings fall depends on one&#8217;s interests and points of view.<\/p>\n<p>One such item was a photo post from MarathonTours. They&#8217;re organizing the inaugural Madagascar Marathon that I&#8217;m doing in June. \u00a0Apparently they just received the finisher medals from the manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_9854.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11922\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_9854-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_9854-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_9854-230x307.jpg 230w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_9854-350x467.jpg 350w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/IMG_9854.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One comment on the post called it the most beautiful medal the person had ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>I wouldn&#8217;t say that,\u00a0but\u00a0I suppose it all depends on one&#8217;s interests and points of view.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I took a time out from Facebook.
