Ughn.\u00a0 UGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNnnnnnnnn.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1170\" height=\"878\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XsKoakqPmAQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>NOTE: Whoever uploaded the above misspelled &#8220;Frankenstein.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know if it was the whirlwind Atlanta trip to see Raiders: The Adaptation (totally worth it though). Or if it&#8217;s a lingering malaria malady. Or if it&#8217;s the restless hour or two of sleep on that lumpy Rodeway Inn mattress in Morrow, GA. Or if it&#8217;s the years and the mileage taking their toll. But whatever the case, it was a very, very, VERY slow 10K this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-13593\" src=\"http:\/\/www.runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758-830x1107.jpg 830w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758-230x307.jpg 230w, https:\/\/runkevinrun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_4758-350x467.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Were it not for a string of lightning bolts in the distance, complete with ever shortening timelines of rolling thunder indicating the strikes were getting closer and closer, I would have walked a whole lot more.<\/p>\n<p>But there&#8217;s nothing like a shock of lightning (or the threat of same) to get the blood pumping, to get the legs moving, to in short spark one to life and to finish the distance.<\/p>\n<p>By the by, I wound up not being struck by lightning.
