A note on the Traveling RunnersBe (as in \u201cRunners Be Crazy!\u201d … although it\u2019s really a retcon\u2019d attempted to cover for a failed Traveling Wilburys riff): Albatros Adventures has assigned us into three groups \u2013 D, E, and F.\u00a0 I\u2019m been too intimidated to ask what happened to the A, B and C groups.\u00a0 Perhaps today I\u2019ll screw my courage to the sticking place and see if I can get to the bottom of this non-mystery mystery.<\/p>\n

A second note on the Traveling RunnersBe: There are some folks I\u2019ve seen and run with before.\u00a0 A couple from Madagascar (Linda and Bill) who said they remembered my Mom and that\u2019s what made them recall me.\u00a0 There\u2019s a woman from Orlando who I met in Antarctica (Margaret).\u00a0 A few other familiar faces.\u00a0 It\u2019s amazing to think that when you\u2019re on these crazed runcations to far flung places you\u2019re bound to bump into other travelers.\u00a0 It\u2019s a reminder of how small the running community and indeed the world can be.<\/p>\n

I should have gone for a run and indeed it\u2019s actually a lot less humid here in Mandalay than it was in Yangon.\u00a0 But I just couldn\u2019t muster that.\u00a0 But here\u2019s a pic from this morning\u2019s constitutional.\u00a0 My iPhone doesn\u2019t do it justice, but:<\/p>\n
