After 519+ miles from Fargo to Green Bay, I’m a bit exhausted. Not the smartest thing I’ve ever done; also not even close to the dumbest thing I’ve ever done. It’s only on the middle of the stupidity continuum. Regardless, this is going to be a short photo filled post.<\/p>\n

But before that, two notes of things I didn’t get shots of:<\/p>\n

A number of bands played along the course. The best named one? The Stationary Wilburys.<\/p>\n

There was decent spectator turnout. The women dressed as Heart came in a close second but top prize goes to the women in their lawn chairs holding a concurrent Bloody Mary-thon.<\/p>\n

There was not one but TWO Elvis impersonators. Of the Elvae, I only caught the name of Danny Elvis. The second guy I didn’t see a sign for; I wonder if it’s like clown college where there’s a master database of performers and characters? Is there a blue suede notebook where accredited impersonators are registered?<\/p>\n

One of the three college campuses we ran through had their mascot out cheering us on. When there’s a giant inflatable Dragon character out and about, OF COURSE I stop. I was frustrated trying to frame the selfie shot as he kept moving; only later did I realize he was trying to pose with his jaws around my head.<\/p>\n
