Of course it does. I was going to say there&#8217;s a fine, fine line between doing the right thing and regret&#8230; but in all honesty, that&#8217;s not true. You can do the right thing and have no regrets, sure, but oftentimes I have done the right thing and still had regrets&#8230; whether opportunity costs or unintended outcomes or just that something doing what is right is a lot harder than not doing anything or doing something wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Point is, I probably should&#8217;ve sucked it up and gone for a marathon today.<\/p>\n<p>But hopefully this is still a case of putting off today so that I can do better tomorrow&#8230; or four weeks as that&#8217;s when my dirt trail marathon is.<\/p>\n<p>Wait&#8230; I shouldn&#8217;t end a sentence with a preposition, right? Or is &#8220;is&#8221; a dangling participle? Is you is or is you ain&#8217;t a wrong way to end a sentence?\u00a0 I was always terrible at grammar. I guess I&#8217;m on the wrong side of the line for regrets.<\/p>\n<p>Recovery often leads to regrets, in past, present, and future. But it is still probably the right thing to do.
