The Tokyo Marathon had elites only.\u00a0 Hong Kong cancelled outright.\u00a0 Rome cancelled.\u00a0 Paris postponed to the fall.\u00a0 I’ve run all of those in past years and it was a bummer to know folks who had been training and looking forward to running them missed out this year.\u00a0 I was actually kind of surprised LA went ahead… and indeed my brother who was trying to cheer me on was freaked out waiting amidst the infection dis-control of it all.<\/p>\n
But I have run… and I continue to run… and hope to run again.<\/p>\n
And yet… toady I found out the coronavirus has struck down Oakland.\u00a0 Is this the first of many cancellations that will impact me?<\/p>\n
