Another year, another promise to cut back on the marathoning. Each year I’ve said this I find myself hitting a new personal MILEstone for record number of marathons run in a calendar year. But this year may be different. I’ve already resisted registering for two races so far. TWO!<\/p>\n

The other thing I’m trying to do is that if there are events on the same weekend, I’m opting to focus on getting into an event I haven’t done before or going to a place I have never been. Thus, despite originally planning on registered for the 20th so-called annual Myrtle Beach Marathon<\/a>, I instead found a slightly cheaper (and closer!) event in Albany, GA, that same day. Out with South Carolina, in with Snickers Marathon!<\/p>\n

There are several still to be locked in that I’m just waiting for the registration to open up or a few logistical items to be ironed out. But as of today, here’s the schedule of events I’ve signed up for:<\/p>\n
