B-Minus 4 Days!

Posted

I’m flying up to Beantown tomorrow so I’ll start posting 2017 Boston Marathon pics then. Today though – shots from the 2012 race. Five years.  Man.

B-Minus 5 Days!

Posted

Five years ago I was running for Boston Children’s Hospital at the 116th Annual Boston Marathon. In a few days, I’ll be at the 121st Annual Boston Marathon expo, a little heavier and with a few more miles on the ol’ odometer.

B-Minus 6 Days!

Boston Marathon Memories: In 2012, The Boston Marathon was the culmination of my quest to run the 50 states. To be fair, after the 40th anniversary race last year they moved the start out of Fayetteville and into Springdale, AR, so it’s a […]

The Right To Bare Arms

Posted

I either forgot to “stop” it or I had neglected to charge it for a few days. Or both. Or neither. Whatever the “how” it came to pass, the reality was my Garmin had no juice. The GPS watch had no get up and go… and the whole morning neither did I. But at that […]

They Don’t Take Visa OR Mastercard for Visas…

Posted

I need to get a visa for Madagascar.  They don’t accept personal checks fr credit cards and instead want cashier checks or money orders. An MO costs $8 at the bank, $1.25 at the Post Office, or 70 cents at Wal-Mart. I went to Wal-Mart… albeit I just googled area prices and apparently Safeway grocery […]
