Hold Please: A Post-Post Script

I’ve spent several hours trying to troubleshoot and figure out what’s wrong with the wordpress coding of runkevinrun.com. There was an electrical surge a few weeks back that knocked everything out… and then another power outage recently that seemed to reset the server correctly… or so I thought. But now I can’t seem to edit any posts I draft, can’t insert any photos… all I can do is put in some unformatted text into a draft, save it, and then though it’s there somewhere, I can’t see anything but a blank screen. Still, I CAN post that blank screen and the text itself seemingly gets uploaded, again, without formatting and without any photos. And that’s after several hours or toggling options and settings and reinstalling large swathes of modules and plug-ins. Maybe if I completely erase everything and try a “from the ground up” clean install it could work again but that’s a bigger project than my little brain can handle right now. I’m a bit defeated by it and maybe this is a sign to freeze/hold runkevinrun.com for a time. This may be the last post for some time… but that’s okay as I don’t seem to be running as much as I used to. Age, aches, and ennui (a slant alliteration yes but alliteration nonetheless) have all taken their toll. So for now, it’s happy trails and see you down the pike… maybe.
