I’m a Star Wars fan, born and raised.
I also enjoy a good pun.
So I think it’s great that there’s an outpouring of Star Wars-ness on May the 4th, even if at times it feels a bit like St Patrick’s Day when suddenly EVERYBODY claims they have a little Irish in them.
Nonetheless, any excuse to celebrate a saga set long ago in a galaxy far, far away… well… I have a good feeling about that.
This year I signed up for a virtual half-marathon… Covid-19 may have disrupted racing events near and far, but the running must go on!
I will say I used to be better at running. Unlike in past days gone by when I would trudge out for a half-marathon, I didn’t feel like I could keep going once I hit 13.1 miles. Truth be told, I started struggling long before then, but needed to finish what I had started.
Still, a great disturbance in the running force continues to plague me.
But that’s for another time… instead, here’s a Baby Yoda drawing.
May the Fourth be with you… today. And May the Fifth bring us tacos.
